Camping Arkeo is a place to slow down and enjoy a relaxed, lively atmosphere at the same time. This small-scale campsite in the Belgium Ardennes offers peace in nature while also bringing people together in a cozy, slightly alternative setting. It feels like a getaway, just two and a half hours from Utrecht or around two hours from Antwerp and Brussels.

You can pitch up your own tent or campervan, or stay in one of our tents/cabins. Camping Arkeo is located directly on the Amblève River, in the province of Liège, an hour south of Maastricht. The atmosphere is relaxed, slightly alternative, and cozy, with an emphasis on peace and quiet. No busy schedule, no swimming pool, and no neatly raked pitches, just a natural environment with character.

At the campsite, you can enjoy the simple things in life: lighting a campfire in the evening, a local beer at the bar, fresh pizzas from the wood-fired oven, and exploring the surrounding area during the day. The famous (and enchanting) Ninglispo River walk is within walking distance, and you can easily walk into the forest for other beautiful hikes. Enjoy nature, play by the river, or simply relax – children will feel right at home here.
